Wakarusa Music Festival Preview

This weekend, The Pier will be traveling to beautiful Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansa for the 10th annual Wakarusa Music festival, check out which sets The Pier will be covering.

Wakarusa Music festival, is the annual four day event hosting almost 35,000 music fans and featuring a lengthy impressive line-up. While the fest has excellent headliners like The Dispatch, and Widespread Panic, The Pier is excited for the large Reggae presences at Wakarusa.

Currently touring the US, on Friday night SOJA will kick off the weekend’s Reggae soundtrack with songs from their most recent release, Strength To Survive as well as tracks off their signature list of hits. Saturday, Rebelution takes their beloved ‘California Roots’ sound to the main stage for their first set, followed by Reggae DJ Lance Herbstrong on the Grassroots California Satellite Stage.

Sunday is the big day for Reggae fans at Wakarusa. Cornerstone Dub starts of the day, followed by an Anuhea set on the main stage, and a set by Jon Wayne and The Pain via the Grassroots California Satellite Stage. Later in the day the main stage really heats up! The Green will spread their ALOHA at 6:00, followed by Rebelution’s second set. Lastly, the highly anticipated set by the scenes newest headliner, Snoop Lion.
