The Bad Boys of Reggae, Inner Circle, have revisited an old riddim with “Tenement Yard” featuring the late, great Jacob Miller. Forty years after it’s original release, a young Chronixx has jumped in on the song and “delivers his message, with what amounts to a whole new song subtitled ‘News Carrying Dread.’” To accompany the single, they have shot a music video for the song in the Wynwood district of Miami, FL; made to resemble a Jamaica ghetto (The term Tenement Yard, in Jamaica, is another phrase for the ghetto).
