Tribal Youth Fall Tour 2013

Just recently, it was announced that Tribal Seeds and Fortunate Youth will be linking up again to embark on the Tribal Youth Tour 2013! They will also be bringing rising reggae sensation, HIRIE, along for the ride.

The two bands have not toured together since the last Tribal Youth Tour that took place in 2011. At that time, Gonzo was part of the front-line for Fortunate Youth. However, this time he will be seen along side Steven Jacobo and the rest of the Tribal Seeds tribe, which now also includes the very talented, E.N. Young.

When asked how he felt about becoming a permanent member of Tribal Seeds, Gonzo told The Pier, “I was honored that a band at top level would reach down and ask for help. Apparently they only asked 2 people… Feeling truly blessed and excited!” He also shared some love to his former band by expressing that he is looking forward to the reunion. “They are my buddies from high school, so it will be good to chill again. I’m proud of FY and their rapid growing movement! Looking forward to jammin some old tunes too…”

Both bands have a huge mutual respect for each other and are very close. Currently on the Automatic Tour with Iration, Through The Roots, and Micah Brown, the Fortunate Youth crew is very excited for this follow up tour with Tribal Seeds.

FY explained, “We Love those guys and enjoy linking up with them any chance we get. We are looking forward to hanging out with the fans, playing some new cities we have never been to and just enjoying the experiences and blessings that touring with some of our good friends provides for us.” Tribal Seeds’ Maad T-Ray chimed in, saying, “Those boys (FY) are our brothas. It’s been a while since we’ve toured together and it felt like it was the right time to hit the road again. We’re fans of their music as well so we can’t wait to enjoy their show and rage afterwards.”
