Formed in April 2010 out of Rochester, NY. THUNDER BODY is a new Roots and Dub Band with a new self-titled album out as they’ve already announced their first tour to the West, that includes a stop through Chi-town and a week of shows in Colorado. Thunder Body consists of Matthew O’Brian & Rachel Orke, founders of Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad.
Hot on the heels of their first self-titled album release, the Rochester-based group is ready to share their original and unprecedented sound with the world. Audiences will be treated to familiar songs no longer available in the GPGDS song list along with tons of fresh new material.
THUNDER BODY will kick off their tour at Bell’s in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 17th and finish it off at Hodi’s Half Note in Fort Collins, CO on February 26th.
