Obscure music question for y'all. Harvest Moon by Bedlam featured on the Reservoir Dogs OS - does anyone know anything about this band?
I know the song was written by a chap called Jay Joyce - is it possible Bedlam was put together just for the soundtrack?

yeah, that seems to be a good question...
Seems like youre right & they just put em together for that record.
Isnt that song also on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack?
Anyway,
I dont know much about Bedlam. But Jay Joyce who wrote this song also worked,(as a musician and /or producer and/or songwriter) with some other "stars" like John Hiatt, Iggy Pop, Macy Gray, Dixie Chicks or Heather Nova.
Then theres also this 70s rock band from the Uk.
I found this about em on the web
"Bedlam" refers to 5 different bands: 1) Bedlam (originally known as Beast when it formed in 1972) was a British hard rock band featuring singer Frank Aiello (from Truth), guitarist Dave Ball (from Procol Harum), bassist Dennis Ball (formerly with Long John Baldry), and drummer Cozy Powell (formerly with Jeff Beck).
They made one self-titled album produced by Felix Pappalardi (producer of Cream, member of Mountain) in 1973, before breaking up in 1974.

You know what, I never noticed the music in Reservoir Dogs. Oh, well, I guess I'll watch that movie AGAIN.
You know what movie has a cool soundtrack? That would be Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

So Jay Joyce has got some explaining to do. I did find a British band called Bedlam but they don't mention Reservoir Dogs on their shit website so I guess it aint them.
Shame, really like Harvest Moona and Magic Carpet Ride.
Good to have you back Croco. Oh and s.kun.xx, listen to the soundtrack it just flows brillantly.
Lock, Stock... is a class soundtrack also. Ocean Colour Scene are the dogs on it - that opening track sets the tone for a rip-roaring soundtrack.
