This Saturday is a marker for the festival going on at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. From the wonderful people who put on California Roots Festival, The Fall Mix Up will be yet another large scale musical event in beautiful Monterey, CA!
J BOOG, Fortunate Youth, Josh Heinrichs, Stranger, Hot Rain, Whiskey Avengers, Matt Masih & The Messenger, SkillinJah, Clear Conscience, and Dewey & The Peoples will all be sharing the bill this weekend. Will there be any collaborations amongst the bands? Sounds like the perfect reason to go: to see it happen in person!
The Arizona desert might be cooling down for the season, but Fayuca will be raising the temperature onstage in the Grand Canyon State! The West Phoenix, AZ based band is playing at The Hut this Saturday in Tucson. Fayuca has plans to go on the road in November and December but has a string of shows in Arizona this month. Their unique Latin reggae-rock style is something everyone should add to their “I have seen them live” list!
SOJA is in Brazil this weekend! Reggae being an international voice and SOJA with their exceptional sound, style, and message, fans will gather no matter where the stage may be! The band has a large South American following and is absolutely adored in the southern hemisphere. After the success of their latest hit album Strength to Survive and a cross-country tour in the U.S., it only makes sense for them to hit up Brazil! SOJA will finish off the month in Brazil until their Halloween jam with Matisyahu before then heading off to Europe!
