California dreaming? Well if you are in sunny California this weekend, look no further for some reggae-rock than The Observatory in Santa Ana. This Southern California venue is hosting genre-favorites, Tribal Seeds, Seedless, Sono Vero, and Phat Reggae Dub Status. The Pier got in
touch with Tribal Seeds for a heads up about the California reggae-rock music fans will be experiencing this Saturday.
“Santa Ana always rages and we’re always stoked and hyped to play SoCal shows! Good vibes!”
Tribal Seeds has been on the road all summer long. First with Through the Roots and now in between shows before they hit the road with Ballyhoo!. The reggae-rock community is so tight knit that everyone ends up playing together so we asked Tribal Seeds how they linked up with Seedless and Sono Vero for Saturday. The band replied, “We played our first shows with Seedless few years back starting off in LA then we took them on tour with us summer of 2011. Good times with those boys. Sono Vero we heard about from other bands and friends. Heard they are a dope, young, upcoming band so we wanted to link up with them for some shows.”
With that said, Tribal Seeds said there is that possibility for an on stage collaboration with Seedless and Sono Vero, so keep an eye out for everyone getting together on stage!
With a couple new songs, “Run the Show” and “Did Wrong” already hitting the scene, Tribal Seeds also shared that they hope to have a new album ready to go by the end of this year or early 2013. So for all of you going to the show, get ready for those two new tunes to embrace your ears!
