Since Feb 2014, we’ve been busy filming for The Pier’s Live Acoustic Series, shooting Tarrus Riley, Aer, John Butler Trio & Zach Deputy and on Sunday, Sept 21st, we will release a collaboration of Passafire & Ballyhoo! performing an acoustic cover!
The Pier’s Live Acoustic Series comes courtesy of Director, Tage Plantell and we’ve been keeping him busy with both directing & editing with a total of 7 new music videos over 9 months .
As we mentioned before, we will premiere the next installment to the series with Passafire & Ballyhoo! coming together for a live collaboration cover of a well known song – We’re not going to announce which song they cover until it’s premiered on Sunday Morning, September 21st, 2014. The video was shot on location at Jacksons in Denver, CO.
Aside from collaborating together for a cover song, both Passafire & Ballyhoo! each performed their own songs to add to The Pier’s Live Acoustic Series.
In addition to Sept 21st, we have another premiere date scheduled for Tuesday, November 6th, 2014. Stay tuned as we will announce at a later time which artist & video we will premiere in November.
The first video to The Pier’s Live Acoustic Series premiered November of 2012 with Cas Haley performing “Crazy Good Woman”. After that, videos ensued with live productions & releases with The Green, Dirty Heads, Tarrus Riley and Iration. You can view each of the previously released videos below!
