The Green Announce First Album in 4 Years!

Hawai’i’s The Green has announced that their new album, Marching Orders, will drop on Oct. 20th, 2017 via Easy Star Records. This is The Green’s first album in 4 years and we’re given a tease as they’ve released a new single with “I Will.”

This will be the bands 4th studio album with a slew of guest appearances that include J Boog, Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, Jamaican dancehall superstar Busy Signal, and Island music veterans Fiji and The Mana’o Company.

The Green guitarist and vocalist Zion Thompson shares, “this album truly is diverse. There’s roots, dancehall, pop rock and of course love songs.”

The latest offering from Marching Orders is new single “I Will,” that was produced by the group, along with collaborators Christian Mochizuki and Leslie Ludiazo who also contributed on much of the new album.

Pre-orders for the new album will begin on September 15th where we should hopefully see the unveiling of the cover-art and full track-listing. The album will be accompanied by a 30-date North American tour planned for the Winter of 2018, dates to be announced in the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy the lyrical video for “I Will” and check back for more updates as we get closer to The Green’s Oct. 20th release of Marching Orders.
