Hailing from Brooklyn is the ruff and tuff quartet known as The Cool & Deadly. Since 2006 the rude boys of the northeast have released two full length albums and an EP that present an inventive rhythmic balance balance between multiple genres.
It has been 3 and a half years since the genre-benders released Rudeboys
Revenge, a twelve track album filled with both distortion-driven guitar riffs and hasty skank rhythms.
This time around, the dub/surf/reggae/rock specialists are releasing Uno Dos, a digital 7″; a double-single release with a Ramone’s-like appeal. Straying away from their typical reggae crossbreed, The Cool And Deadly prove their ability to mold different sounds into one exotic vibe. They turned up the intensity and seemingly turned back the clock to actualize the old school sounds and auras of punk rock in it’s primitive form.
Even better, The Cool And Deadly have given us (and you) the opportunity to add these songs to your personal discographies through our MP3 Massive section. Check out these brand new trendy sounds from the New Yorkers here!
