After spending the better part of the fall season touring throughout Europe, The Aggrolites will be bringing their dirty reggae sound back to their home state of California for a string of dates in Southern California.
For The Aggrolites, touring is a major part of their success. Since 2011, The Aggrolites have been touring nonstop in support of their most recent release full-length studio album, Rugged Road. But, as far as touring, that is where the band takes their greatest pleasure in their music. ”Every time we do a run in the U.S or even in Europe for that matter, it’s like a small reunion with people that we maybe only see a couple times a year.” Says Roger Rivas, piano/organ player of The Aggrolites. ”Every place we go we have our groups of friends that we have made over the years of touring.”
Friends have comeback to hear the sweet sounds of reggae with The Aggrolites at local venues across the globe. To end the year, The Aggrolites will be ringing in the New Year in style with hitting their most favorable market. For fans wishing they could have caught The Aggrolites at a live show this past year, their show at Saint Rocke on December 30th will be streamed live via the venue’s website. However, if you are in the neighborhood for these shows, the Solana Beach show will feature the B-Side Players, which occasionally features Slightly Stoopid veterans Oguer “OG” Ocun and Ryan “RyMo” Moran. For the aforementioned Saint Rocke date in Hermosa Beach, fellow Los Angeles reggae locals The Expanders will be playing direct support to The Aggrolites that particular evening.
