TBS Announces Album Release Date!

“The Year of the Fan” keeps marching on. Today, another monstrous announcement, from Tomorrows Bad Seeds regarding their highly anticipated 3rd full-length album. Tomorrows Bad Seeds upcoming album will be titled The Great Escape, and will be released on June 12, 2012.

The Great Escape was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Damon Elliot, most notably from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, while also working with Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, Pink, and many more household names. Elliot has also garnered seven other Grammy nominations for his tireless efforts in the music industry.

Tomorrows Bad Seeds lead single from The Great Escape, “One Way” has already propelled its way into the Top 40 of the Indicator Charts, sitting in the neighborhood of such notable artists like Jason Mraz, Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg.

“One Way” was co-wrote with established songwriter Tim Myers (One Republic). Clearly, the catchy tune is ideal for a feel good summer track that has already stirred up a buzz in the radio world. With that being said, the hit song will soon be accompanied by a music video directed by Cliff Cruz of Stage 35.

This announcement is nowhere near the end for TBS, as they have a stockpiled summer ahead. Kicking off the summer, TBS will be performing on all 41-dates of the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, after being featured on the past two editions of the tour on regional dates.

As the heat begins to rise, the music that we love is beginning to bloom. Each week passes, and another big name artist in the reggae-rock genre is preparing for a new album release and subsequent touring to support their musical masterpiece. Stay tuned for more updates on TBS’ upcoming music video for “One Way”!
