Thursday starts the Halloween weekend! With so many events, its a trick just picking where to go, but we found a treat as The Pier will be celebrating the spooky holiday in the perfect environment, under the eerie mossy oaks around Spirit Lake in Live Oak, Florida.
This weekend thousands will head to the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, for an event that boasts an excellent mix of live Jam acts. Hosted by The String Cheese Incident, the Suwannee Hulaween, with its fusion of Jam Rock, Electronic and anything in between, is the one event not to miss this fall!
Based around 7 SCI sets from October 31 to November 1, including 3 sets on Halloween night, the festival also features late night sets from STS9 and Big Gigantic, and sets from Conspirator, Emancipator and an eclectic collective of artists from bluegrass and Americana to organic electronic and experimental rock including Steve Kimock & Friends, Suwannee Bluegrass Surprise with Leftover Salmon and Larry & Jenny Keel, Future Rock, Brock Butler, Moon Taxi, Applebutter Express, and many more, as well as a full Silent Disco line-up!
Spread across three stages on a non overlapping schedule, festival goers wont miss a beat traveling through the forest. Set on 800 acres of one of the most beautiful live music venues in the country, Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions are set to morph the land into a Voodoo themed festival ground, filled with be spookiest costume concoction, brilliant lights, astonishing Hulaween art installations from the Southeast’s most talented sculptors, fire/metal workers, painters, and performance art that morphs the Spirit Lake waterfront and forest into a beautiful festival atmosphere, transporting attendees into a fully immersive musical land.
