This Valentine’s Day, Sono Vero will be spreading the love by releasing their long awaited EP, Roses For The Reckless! On a day associated with love and romance, the band chose the perfect time to release 5 songs featuring their signature style.
The band first began working on the EP late last year at 17th Street Recording Studio in Costa Mesa, California. According to lead singer, Charlie Ueda, he had help from Moi of Tomorrows Bad Seeds with writing and back up vocals on every track. The third song, “Back and Forth,” is sure to be a fan favorite as it 
features a verse from Moi as well as a guest appearance by Rico of Ease Up.
With Lew Richards behind the production, Sono Vero’s sound is sure to shine throughout the EP. Charlie claims “The End of Forever” as his favorite track off the new release. “I had a vision for that song for a while and it was so awesome to see it take shape in the studio. Lew really nailed the production and I couldn’t be happier with it.”
[Sidenote: I was actually at the studio during the beginning stages of production on the song and am anxious to hear the final product!]
Just recently, Sono Vero won “Best Reggae Artist” at the 3rd annual Artists In Music Awards held in Los Angeles, California. The EP release show is set to take place on March 28th at DiPiazza’s in Long Beach, CA. In addition to filming their first music video, Sono Vero also has plans to support the release of Roses For The Reckless with an acoustic tour.
