April 9th, 2013 was the official iTunes release of yet another SOJA song remixed. The newest release is a Jr Blender Mentality remix featuring none other than reggae’s beloved Samoan, J Boog. The track is a remix of SOJA’s “Mentality” off of their fourth full-length album, Strength To Survive.
The remix is officially titled, “F*** Your System” and has a very heavy emphasis on electronic sounds and synthesizers.
J Boog was nice enough to give The Pier some insight on how he came about working with SOJA for the 
remix. “SOJA’s manager contacted my manager and said that they wanted to do a remake of the song. We loved the idea, so we did it… I love the track and I love working with the boys from SOJA.”
J Boog’s part was actually recorded at their brand new state of the art recording studio in Hawaii, Wash House Studios.
The track’s official World debut was on Island 98.5 FM on Oahu. It was also broadcasted via iHeart Radio applications across the globe. On Friday, March 29th, the song was played every hour at the top of the hour. The station was given exclusive access to the remix in anticipation for when SOJA and Atmosphere are performing a string of dates in Hawaii later this month. These dates are highlighted by the April 20th show that will be held in Honolulu.

It’s great to see so many bands in the reggae scene putting in endless hours of work and SOJA is definitely no exception. Not only are they in the middle of their spring tour, but they are always trying to find ways to keep their fans and followers happy.
