Slightly Stoopid Returns to TRI Studios!

On April 21st, 2016, Slightly Stoopid returns to TRI Studios for a live performance and webcast joined by Karl Denson, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Marlon Asher and Roger Rivas of The Aggrolites. The group last visited the studio for a live performance back in 2011.

Slightly Stoopid Returns to TRI Studios

The Tamalpais Research Institute (TRI Studios) is a world-class audio, video and streaming venue and recording facility founded by Grateful Dead’s founding member, Bob Weir. Weir himself will sit in with Stoopid during their live webcast performance. SlightlyStoopid_TRI

Actor Peter Dante (The Waterboy, 50 First Dates, Big Daddy) will host the event as the performance will broadcast live at 7:00pm PST on all Qello Concerts streaming service allowing fans to watch the concert from their couch, computer, or on the go.

Qello Concerts is available on a host of Connected TVs including AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, and more, including all iOS and Android mobile devices, and on the web at Qello.com. Events at TRI are filmed, directed, mixed and webcast live in HD.

The last time Slightly Stoopid found themselves performing inside TRI Studios, back in 2011, it translated into a live DVD and two disc CD release entitled “Live At Roberto’s.” Whether or not this will translate into a “Live at Roberto’s Vol. II” may entirely depend on the performance itself, which leaves little doubt with us Stoopid Heads who would love to see a Vol. 2 release, performing newer material from their last studio album Meanwhile… Back at The Lab and Top of the World among other gems they didn’t perform their first time around.
