Rootz Underground Tour with SOJA!

Following a holiday and New Year’s Eve string of dates with internationally acclaimed touring outfit, SOJA, Kingston, Jamaica’s most highly touted band, Rootz Underground will be returning to the states this coming spring. Once again, SOJA will be giving a large-scale platform for a relatively “underground” band in America.

With over ten years of performing music together, the six members that comprise the 21st Century roots-rock-reggae band from Jamaica will be playing in the United States after performing locally on the oval rock since 2013 commenced. Rootz Underground will jump on a plane and hit the road, beginning on April 19th. Traditional for bands calling the Caribbean home, the first stop will be three consecutive nights in Florida, hitting Orlando, St. Augustine and St. Petersburg before heading out west to meet up with SOJA in San Diego, California.

In total, Rootz Underground and SOJA will be sharing the stage for nine dates along the west coast, including dates in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho and Utah among others. As SOJA has progressed to perform in front of sold out amphitheaters across the globe, this upcoming spring tour will be housed in venues that hold approximately 1,000 attendees. If an intimate musical environment is your ideal setting for a live concert, this tour will cater to your particular needs.

However, if big outdoor, multiple day music and art festivals satiate your taste buds, Rootz Underground will also be featured at the 4th Annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey, CA, as well as Reggae on the River in August and Summer Jam in early September.

Becoming a big name internationally, Rootz Underground will raise the awareness of their musical sound and message, all the while supporting the leading reggae band today, SOJA. The United States will be in for a treat every single night with a two-headed lineup such as this!
