After a tremendous year of touring in 2013, Rebelution, following time in the studio, will be back out on the road in 2014, as the band has announced the dates an details for their upcoming Winter and Spring Greens Tours.
Rebelution had another big year, playing 70+ dates including a trip to Europe. While on the road, they shared the stage with Matisyahu, Collie Buddz, J Boog, Inner Circle & sold out the Red Rocks for Reggae on the Rocks in Morrison, Colorado back in August. They performed various festivals including 2 sets at Wakarusa, headlined the 2013 California Roots Music & Arts Festival, and a spot at the infamous Glastonbury Festival. Even with all of that, Rebelution has managed to find time inside various Studios to work on their next album, rumored to be out in 2014.
On past set list played this year, fans heard two new singles “Counterfeit Love” and “De-Stress”. With production of a new record well underway, fans can expect the addition of more new tracks to sets on the anticipated tour dates, as well as any of Rebelution’s beloved tracks off their past discography.
Just a month after the end of their holiday run with Through The Roots, this February Rebelution will be stopping through some of thier favorite cities as they embark on their annual Winter Greens Tour. Kicking off February 4th at The Pageant in St Louis, Missouri, Rebelution will play 14 dates with Cris Cab as direct support through the eastern leg of the tour.
After a spot March 1st at the Silverlake Music Festival in Pattaya, Thailand, and the one-off March 15 in Tempe, AZ with Atmosphere, Pepper, Iration, Rebelution will pick back up with their US tour March 27th at Tucson’s Rialto Theater. Along with Common Kings the Spring Greens Tour will play 20 dates including shows along the west coast, Midwest, eventually ending down in Knoxville.
From Tennessee the band will fly all the way back west to Pozo, CA to play the Pozo Saloon at the Higher Grounds Music Festival, a 4/20 show that also includes Cypress Hill, Juicy J, Tribal Seeds, Nipsey Hussle, The Green, and Ty Dolla $ign.
