October 2011 Album Releases

A good week into October, we take a look at 7 solid albums releasing this month. With 2011 coming to an end and the holidays around the corner, these 7 releases may have to take us into the new year. Lets take a look at what October has in store for us…

October is usually the last month for big releases before the New Year. Most of the music scene seems to slow down after Thanksgiving and into the holidays with groups usually releasing EPs or Singles with short regional tours. With a lot of uncertainty for November & December releases, October has some new albums by some great bands who have been long overdue for a new release. Lets see if these will be enough to take us into the New Year if November & December don’t show us any new releases.

Whenever there is new music, there is generally tours to support them, so be sure to check our Show Locator to see where each band will be playing next. If there’s a group you don’t see inside our Show Locator, let us know and we’ll update it. In the meantime, save your paycheck and take a peak at what August holds for us with new album releases…
