On Thanksgiving Day, Thrive! has decided to give back to their fans by releasing a music video for the song, “Patience.” This will be the first music video off their latest album, Relentless
According to lead vocalist, Aaron Borowitz, “Patience” is a fan favorite with a very meaningful message behind it.
The music video features a combination of recordings from Aaron’s house in Santa Cruz, CA along with footage that was captured during the band’s Relentless Tour, which took place this past summer. The band chose Ben Ingram Visuals, a photographer for a surf website known as Santa Cruz Waves, to direct the video. In addition, Ben also did the artwork for Thrive’s last album, Relentless.

“Patience” is the sixth track on the 12-song album and was recorded at Gadget Box Studios in the band’s hometown of Santa Cruz, CA. Shortly after completion, it was taken to Lewis Richards at 17th Street Studio in Costa Mesa, CA for mixing and mastering.
When asked for background on the song, Aaron, who also plays guitar, gladly replied: “I actually wrote ‘Patience’ last winter at like 3am when I was at my house, in between shows. I got the concept from my Dad. When I was little, he always used to say, ‘All good things come to those that wait,’ which is basically the chorus of the tune. The theme of the last album is the struggle to achieve dreams and ‘Patience’ is sort of the mantra for that…”
Following the music video’s release, Thrive will be hitting the road for a Winter Tour. With 6 shows set so far, the band will be featured in some of California’s most well known venues playing alongside some big names in the Reggae scene such as Rebelution, The Green, J Boog, and Groundation on select dates.
