Thrive – “Lookin Away”
Lookin Away Background:
“Lookin Away” is the 10th track off Thrive’s last studio album Relentless that was released May 2013. That album also features Eric Rachmany of Rebelution on the song “Just Fine”.
As the group explains, “The song (Lookin Away) was inspired by a situation where I realized that there are some people you can trust and some you can’t. Its an important life lesson as we are only as powerful as the ones we surround ourselves with. The song comes from a genuine place of frustration over someone you thought you could trust, proved themselves unworthy of your love and friendship.”– Aaron Borowitz (Lead Vocals/Guitar)

Thrive Background:
Since 2008 Santa Cruz based pop/rock/reggae band Thrive has been paving their path in the music world.
In October 2010 the relatively unknown band put out their album Gratitude Attitude and would shock the scene. The album would reach number 4 on the iTunes Reggae Charts and would start the motor for the machine that is called Thrive.
Thrive would build on their success with regional tours with front running reggae artists *SOJA**, Iration* and *Tribal Seeds*, along with statewide headlining tours on their own and massive shows with other artists including *Rebelution, JBoog, The Green and Katchafire.*
In May 2013 Thrive released full-length record: “Relentless” which debuted #3 on iTunes Reggae Chart and #6 on Billboard Reggae Chart!
