“Krooked Treez” Background:
Krooked Treez released their debut album, Higher Place, back in July 2013. The album features 11 tracks, including the song “Krooked Treez”, which sits at track 6 on the album.

For the song, “Krooked Treez”, Drummer, Alex Puente, laid down the beat at the studio, where vocalist, BZ Bwai, came up with his verse and the hook, while vocalist O.Brown wrote his verse in a dispensary, where he works as the #1 Budtender!

Here’s what percussionist, Stephen Lashbrook had to say about the song “Krooked Treez”:
“The song ‘Krooked Treez’ embodies the spirit of the herb. It’s one of those songs, that puts you in an peaceful space, one that you can just kick-back, blaze-up and let all of your stresses and worries fade away. As one fan said, “This is the greatest song to smoke herb to!”

Lashbrook continued on, concluding: “It pays homage to the medicinal marijuana dispensaries and the importance of the herb being accessible to people who truly need it for alleviating pain, or even curing an illness. To us, it’s one of those good-vibe songs that brings positive awareness to one of our greatest gifts from the almighty Jah…The holy herb!”
