Aside from touring the country with Mike Pinto or celebrating the release of his new album Satisfied, Josh Heinrichs was kind of enough to share new song What Can I Do with The Pier as this week’s Leak of the Week.
Josh Heinrichs –What Can I Do (Feat Rexie Adlawan)
Josh Heinrichs is back with his fifth solo album and second solo release of 2011. Hailing from Springfield, Missouri Heinrichs’ music has spread from inside out whether it is with his former group Jah Roots or from his solo career. The album features 12 tracks and features multiple artists from both the pacific and from the mainland of America.
Of the 12 tracks on the new album, Josh Heinrichs has given The Pier new song What Can I Do to give away this week for FREE Download. The song is Josh’s first duet with a female vocalist as the track features Rexie Adlawan of the hawaiian based group, Inity Collective.
Here’s what Josh told The Pier about the song..
“I love this song so much and it is one of my favorites I have ever done from any album. Rexie’s voice is just ridiculously amazing and hits me in my soul every time I hear her sing. Rexie is the lead singer for a local Hawaiian roots reggae band, Inity Collective, whom I met on my first tour of Hawaii in 2009. We have been friends ever since and she immediately came to mind when I knew I wanted to do a duet with a female for this album and she more than nailed it, she KILLED it ; ) Hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.”
