“Hooligan” (Remix) Background:
Big B’s new album is scheduled to be released later this summer via Suburban Noize Records and will feature guest appearances by Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, country superstar Colt Ford, as well as members of legendary punk outfits NOFX and Pennywise.
Big B recently finished up the recording of his new studio album Fools Gold with producer Jim Perkins and recently re-recorded his classic track “Hooligan” in a new remix. Here’s what he had to say in regards to the song:
“Me and Jim Perkins didn’t set out to do a remix of ‘Hooligan’, we were just in the studio between tracks and started jamming. It sounded so dope we decided to record it. One of the luxuries of playing with a band and not just rapping over beats. We mixed the old with the new on this one. Hope you like it.” –Big B
Big B has taken a back-to-basics approach on Fool’s Gold and filled it with fun spirited songs that can fit into any music lover’s playlist. The album is rich in musical diversity and is cleverly inventive, as Big B seamlessly bridges the gap between rock, hip-hop, and alternative.

Las Vegas, Nevada’s Big B has become known for his raw and honest style, likening him to a modern day Johnny Cash yet blending in his own elements, namely hip-hop, alternative rock, country and even a laid-back reggae vibe.
Big B has also been a regular cast member on the A&E hit television series INKED, focusing on his work at the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company in Las Vegas alongside his friend and freestyle motocross icon Carey Hart. INKED became one of the most viewed television shows in A&E’s history and brought BIG B an entirely new fan base.
