Last year, Reggae outfit Morgan Heritage brought back their unique crossover roots sound to stages across Europe, supporting their long awaited EP The Return. After the successful run, Morgan Heritage has been hard at work on a follow up full length album, “Here Come The Kings.” 
In 2013, Morgan Heritage has not slowed, moving the act to the US and preparing the release of the group’s first album in six years. Recorded in Trinidad with Machel Montano, “Here Come The Kings” is set to be release on June 4th, through CTBC Music/VP Music Group.
In February fans got to hear a sample of the upcoming record with the release of the first single off the album. “Perfect Love Song” produced by Linton “TJ” White, Andrew Myrie and Morgan Heritage, brings out Gramps Morgan deejaying for the first time on a Morgan Heritage song in over 10 years! Released by VP Records worldwide on iTunes, the single hit number one on the reggae charts including Rico Vibes in Atlanta and iTunes Japan.
Recently filming a music video for the single, fresh off their recent U.S. Northeast tour, Morgan Heritage has released an exclusive look behind the scenes of their shoot for “Perfect Love Song.” Directed by Spencer Antle of Island Company and shot in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, Florida, the video gives fans a first visual for the single off the forthcoming album “Here Come The Kings”
Acclaimed producers Shane C. Brown and Grammy nominee Jason “J-Vibe” Farmer have showcased a sound fans are sure to love. Though a release date and the cover art have been released, for “Here Come The Kings,” a full track list has not yet been put out.
However it has been announced that the upcoming record will include “The Return” and “Stand Up,” tracks off The Return Ep, as well as tracks titled “Man Has Forgotten,” “Dem Ah Run Come,” “Love Stoned” a track that features Busy Signal, and the released single “Perfect Love Song.”
