Matisyahu Announces Acoustic EP

Matisyahu, and the Dub Trio, have been one of the busiest groups in 2012. As the year concludes, Matisyahu is already poised to start the New Year on the same note, with a new release and subsequent tour.

After releasing his fourth studio album Spark Seeker, this past July, Matisyahu will follow up with an acoustic EP, titled Spark Seeker: The Acoustic EP.” This past week it has been reported that on January 15, Matisyahu will release a five-track version of the EP through Amazon and a seven-track version on iTunes, with further bonus tracks leaking later via his website.

In addition to the release of the acoustic EP, Matisyahu’s be supporting the record with a an early 2013 limited run of several special “Acoustic Evening With Matisyahu” performances. Along with his unique acoustic set, these gigs will include question and answer section of the show, allowing fans to speak with and ask Matisyahu questions. Tickets for these performances are on sale now. In light of the recent storms in the Northeast and the aftermath caused by Hurricane Sandy, Matisyahu will be donating $1 from every ticket sold during the pre-sale to Hurricane Sandy relief.
