Ghetto Youths International, a family owned record label run by Bob Marley’s sons, Julian, Stephen and Damian Marley are bringing the next generation of reggae artist to the west coast.
This very brief 2 week west coast tour spanning Hawaii, Washington, Oregon and California kicking off summer begins kicks off June 14 in Maui at the Republic Music Festival and ends at the sold out show at the Belly Up in Solana Beach, CA, for the show on Friday, July 2; which is the third time they have sold out this venue. The Set Up Shop Tour will feature performances by Ghetto Youth Crew members, Wayne Marshall, Jo Mersa, Black-Am-I and Christopher Ellis as well as Damian “Jr Gong” and Stephen “Ragga” 
Marley.
The Ghetto Youths International record label began in 2002, as a way for Julian, Stephen and Damian to work together on bringing in new talent as well as working on their solo careers. The Ghetto Youths International released the album Set Up Shop Vol. 1 last February 2013, which is a compilation of traditional and contemporary reggae riddims.
Many of the album’s singles have reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Album chart and feature Wayne Marshall, Jo Mersa (the eldest son of Stephen “Ragga” Marley), Christopher Ellis (the youngest son of legendary Jamaican vocalist Alton Ellis), Black-Am-I, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Stephen “Ragga” Marley.
