Josh Heinrichs Rooftop Sessions EP

Josh Heinrichs Rooftop Sessions EP

Tuesday, March 26th, 2013, Josh Heinrichs will be dropping his newest EP, titled “Rooftop Session.” Almost a year since releasing any sort of album or EP, this Midwest reggae artist is ready to put out a 5-song EP for all to enjoy.

Rooftop Session was recorded and produced in Branson, Missouri at Roller Pro Recording. Josh chose to roll with producer, Greg Roller because according to Heinrichs, “He (Greg) knows our style so well now and it makes it very easy for all of us to move quickly and get recordings done on budget and still sound amazing.”

With Josh Heinrichs on vocals and rhythm guitar, Lance Sittion on lead guitar, Mick Kline providing bass and keys, and Ian Foreman on the drums, Josh had the help of the regular Ganjah Records band to record.

Josh had to say this about why he chose to work with the band for the EP, “The recordings are pure and honest, no crazy overdubbing or effects we cannot recreate in a live show. This way our live show sounds exactly like the record. This is my favorite way to record.”

The reason for Josh not releasing any albums recently is because he has been busy working on growing his independent label. In 2012 he dropped 4 new albums under Ganjah Records from artists, 77 Jefferson, Lance Sitton and 2 from SkillinJah, earning him a nomination for Break-Out Artist of the Year for the 2012 Pier Awards.

Heinrichs was unable to find time to get into the studio for himself between putting out those records and touring around the nation. “We figured it is time for a new album and what better way to start the New Year. We have just recently finished the ‘Rooftop Session’ EP & are now ready to share it with the world on March 26th.” -Josh Heinrichs.

Rooftop Session Tracklist:
1.) Rooftop Session
2.) Cryin’ Time
3.) Wrapped Up
