Earlier this month, the mellow mid-west musical man, Josh Heinrichs, announced that he was releasing a FREE live 10-track album. This free album features his right-hand-man, Skillinjah, on 5 tracks along with San Diego’s own, Stranger, backing up the entire performance and keeping the beat alive.
In celebration of his latest release, Rooftop Session EP, debuting at #1 on iTunes and at 
#2 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, Josh has decided to release a brand new album, “Live at California Roots Fall Mix Up 2012.”

Josh explained “I decided to release it for FREE as a THANK YOU gift to all my fans… and I thought it was just too good for everybody not to own the entire thing instead of maybe just buying 1 or 2 tracks… I want people to listen to it in its’ entirety like they are at the show with us, it sounds that damn good!”
When asked what his favorite memory from Cali Roots 2012 was, he told us, “Besides running around like a kid at a candy shop meeting all my favorite reggae bands and artists… I also played the after party for 2012 Cali Roots Fest with 77 Jefferson & SkillinJah, where after we got done playing, a police officer walks right up to me… Immediately intimidated, the cop comes right up to me and says “You were amazing” and goes on to tell me how much he loved our set… It was awesome :)”

Josh Heinrichs, along with Skillinjah, will be hitting the stage on Friday, May 24th at this year’s 4th Annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival. “This year I am taking a group of friends and my wife and it is gonna be just sheer reggae insanity. Being the reggae fanatic I am besides being an artist, this is like going to Disney world for me and my wife and friends!”
