Iration Headlines Heatseekers Tour

After completing one of the most sought after tours in the fall with The Expendables, Iration will now be headlining their own west coast Heatseekers Tour 2013 with Savannah, Georgia’s very own Passafire and Surf City, USA’s Pacific Dub.

There is an extremely strong chance fans in attendance will be hearing new music from the performers on stage. Iration has been finished with their new album, Automatic since the summer, and have been performing new tracks such as their new single, “Porcupine”, “Back Around” and “Show Me” along with their show staples like “Time Bomb”, “Falling” and “Turn Around”.

When word of this three-headed tour came about, The Pier spoke to Micah Pueschel, lead singer and guitarist for Iration, regarding the tour. Micah responded eagerly, “We are super pumped to be heading out on the Heatseekers Tour 2013 with our boys from Passafire and Pacific Dub. The difference in styles and live performances should make for an awesome combo of bands. We have toured together before and know both bands well, so that should make for a lot of good times. We are also stoked to have our boys The Green joining us in Tahoe and Petaluma as well as Natural Vibrations and Through the Roots joining us for our two shows at House of Blues San Diego. We will be playing new music and look forward to bringing the heat to your town!”

Along with bringing the heat, Passafire has been working on new material as well! Touching those lines, Will Kubley, bassist for Passafire, told us some of his new favorites fans should be on the lookout at their live performances, “I really enjoy playing ‘Right Thing’ live. It’s a different kind of vibe for us. This week, we’re in Savannah coming up with new ideas and songs, so there maybe something undiscovered that I’m most excited for that I don’t even know yet.”

This tour will be mostly west coast and mountain towns, so fans on the east coast can only hope and dream for witnessing these three bands together in the future. However, Kubley is looking forward to some of the less traveled spots this time around, stating, “Jackson WY sounds fun to me. Playing in new spots just adds another level of ‘ I wonder what’s going to happen today?’ The more remote and less traveled to towns are always the best.”
