Playing through the pioneering days of Reggae music, the ‘Bad Boys of Reggae,’ Inner Circle, after all these years, are still producing new music and bringing their high energy live shows to venues all across the globe. 
On the heels of a tour around the US, a run that included a close call with a blown tire while riding on their tour bus, Inner Circle is set to close out the Summer with a big European festival tour, supporting band’s latest project Hawaii Sings, an album that was produced, mixed and recorded by the members of Inner Circle and distributed through Dubshot Records and Sound Bwoy Entertainment.
Hawaii Sings brings together Hawaii’s reggae stars, such as J Boog, Fiji, Mishka, Siaosi, Marty Dread, Irie Love and more, covering Jacob Miller’s greatest hits, paying homage to the late great legendary Jamaica singer who passed way before his actual glory.
Released this past April, the album includes 20 total songs in all. The first 10 tracks are new cuts with the guest artists, followed by the re-release of another 10 classic cuts with Jacob Miller featuring Inner Circle. Each of the new tracks were recorded and mixed out of Circle Village Studios, an extension of Inner Circle’s main studio Circle House Studios.
Jacob Miller (May 4, 1952 – March 23, 1980) was a Jamaican reggae artist, who first recorded with Clement Dodd. While pursuing a prolific solo career, he became the lead singer for reggae group Inner Circle with whom he recorded until his death in a car accident at the age of 27. Jacob Miller was known as one of Jamaica’s most distinctive vocal stylists, with a trademark vibrato he used to accent his performance.
Inner Circle continues the Jacob Miller legacy with their crossover success, bringing vibrant Reggae-Pop live shows to venues all arounf the globe. During the end of July and into August the band will make their way through Europe, performing at festivals all around the continent. To close out the Summer the Inner Circle crew will play several festivals around the US. Starting August 24th the group has a spot during Reggae on the Rocks at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre of Morrison, CO. The following day Inncer Circle heads to Eugene, OR for the Kaleidoscope Music Festival, playing a on a bill that also includes acts like Bassnectar, Nas, and Electro-Pop duo Empire of the Sun. Ending their run, Inncercircle will play the last gig of their Summer tour with a performance in their home state, at the Waterfront Meyer Amphitheatre of West Palm Beach, FL.
