As mentioned in our Most Anticipated Albums of 2011 article, The Easy Star All-Stars are set to release their first full-length album of original songs titled FIRST LIGHT on April 5th followed by the First Light Tour that will coincide with their new release!
Easy Star All-Stars have been working on the album over the last 6 months and while on tour, the group has been seen playing new original songs such as Dont Stop The Music, Paid My Dues & the album titled track, First Light. The upcoming tour is expected to feature the group playing more songs from the new album.
The First Light Tour officially begins March 31 in Baltimore (with one early show at Mt. Snow in Vermont a few days before as well). While on tour, Easy Star All-Stars will have a supporting cast that includes Hawaii’s own, The Green as well as Cas Haley. Fans looking to catch a show on the tour may be treated to see Cas Haley jump on stage to help perform new song Unbelievable as Haley is featured singing on the song.
Another highlight with this tour comes on April 20 in New York when the All-Stars will co-headline a show at the Highline Ballroom with label mates John Brown’s Body.
