After tributes to three legendary albumsThe Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Radiohead in the past nine years, New York’s reggae All-stars have announced their fourth, to be released on August 28th this year.
There were twenty five monstrous candidates at the start nearly a month ago; some derived from the sixties era while other candidates still loom over top 40’s radio today.
This time around the oldies take the cake, as The Easy Star All-Stars fourth tribute album will honor: Michael Jackson with their August release of Thrillah a long with a Billy Jean EP set for digital release on July 12th. The album will feature guest appearances by The Green, Mojo Morgan, Steel Pulse, Cas Haley, and many more.
The original nine-track Thriller album was first released on November 30, 1982 through Epic Records. It included admired hits such as “Thriller”, “Beat It”, and “Billie Jean”.
