Dirty Heads Summer Tour Announced

Dirty Heads Summer Tour Announced

The Dirty Heads have just wrapped up their Odessey Tour with Shiny Toy Guns and aren’t slowing down any time soon. Their Cabin By the Sea Tour is set to start June 21st in Austin, Texas, joined by The Expendables and Big B.

The tour will span the East Coast, going all the way up into Canada and then wrapping up out west in Arizona. The Cabin By The Sea Tour follows the groups latest single, also titled “Cabin By The Sea” from their latest album, Cabin By The Sea.

In between the Odessey Tour and the summer tour, the Dirty Heads will be in the studio working on an acoustic album. Many of the songs will come from the first and second album, adding a deeper, blues and folk sound to their music. They would like the album to come out sometime in the summer, but there are no solid dates as of yet.

The boys are excited for the summer time feel for the shows:
“I think with our style of music, we bring that summer vibe. We definitely are a summer type band and that is when we really shine. I’m very very excited for that lineup.” – vocalist, Jared Watson

The Dirty Heads have a long history of friendship with the Expendables, mentioning that, “Both the Expendables and Big B are really good friends of ours, really close. The Expendables, we owe so much to those guys. They took us out a long time ago before anybody knew who we were.”

The Expendables also shared their excitement for the summer tour, while they’re hard at work on their new album. The new album is projected to be released in early 2014 and fans can anticipate “a few surprises”.

In addition, Las Vegas Hip-Hop artist, Big B also has a new album titled Fools Gold that is expected to be released sometime in June or July and one of the tracks off the new album is slated to feature a guest appearance by the Dirty Heads. So maybe fans will receive a treat to seeing that collaboration performed LIVE during the tour!

Pre-sale for the summer tour goes on sale 4/20 so fans can get their tickets online. There will also be VIP and Meet and Greet opportunities to hang out backstage during sound checks and meet the guys.
