Recently releasing new tracks in collaboration with several of Reggea-Rock’s favorite acts, following a bit of studio time on his own project, Collie Buddz is set to bring his high energy live show to fans across the US and Europe this summer.
After appearing on tracks for both Matishyau’s and Rebelution’s new records, plus releasing a new single with Stick Figure, Collie Buddz has been in the studio laying down some new material of his own. Working with legendary producer Jim Jonsin, Grammy Award Winning Producer Supa Dups, and Salaam Remi of Sony Music’s Louder Than Life, the artists new track “Light It Up” is the first sampling of Collie Buddz upcoming material off his third studio record.
Following his time in the studio, this summer Collie Buddz will hit the road on the Summer Swizzle Tour. Before the tour gets started Collie Buddz warms up with two festival appearances. On Independence Day in Salt Lake City, Utah, Collie Buddz will play Independence Fest alongside Fiji, a handful of other excellent live bands and of course a fireworks show. The next day, Collie Buddz will head to Fairplay, Colorado for a set at the South Park Music Festival.
The following Wednesday, July 9th, the 10-day Summer Swizzle Tour kicks off in New York City, before working its way down to South Carolina and back up into the Northeast. During the month of August, Collie Buddz will play 8 shows throughout Europe, before finishing out the month with a set at the Long Beach Shoreline Jam in California.
Collie Buddz closes out his list of tour dates on September 13th with a performance in Wilmington, North Carolina during the 2nd annual California Roots: Carolina Sessions, a festival that is packed with many other excellent Reggae-Rock bands performing over 2 days!
