Well, we’ve past the October halfway mark so you know what that means: Christmas is just around the corner. And this Christmas, Cas Haley and Easy Star Records are bringing us all a very special gift. On Nov. 8, Easy Star Records will release Gifts To Give
Gifts To Give is a five-track EP by Cas Haley. The EP will feature four Christmas classics, arranged by Cas with a focus on his crystalline voice. The title track, “Gifts To Give” is a Cas Haley original.
“I have wanted to make a Christmas album for a long, long time,” says Cas. “But, I always felt that if I was going to, I needed to write at least one original song to make my own mark and that’s where I have been stuck. What can I say about Christmas that hasn’t been said?”
Cas Haley will be touring throughout the fall playing solo acoustic sets and supporting Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad and labelmates, The Green, for the final half of his 2011 tour.
