About a year ago, I saw Authority Zero at the Hard Rock Café with Ballyhoo! and Versus the World during their Summer Sickness tour. I gotta be honest because the venue is definitely not the biggest Hard Rock in the world, and feels more like a dining establishment until they clear all the tables off the main floor. BUT, Authority Zero rocked the house, didn’t show their age, but proved why they’ve been together for 2 decades and have been touring for 20 years.
Since that run of 44 shows that led into mid-summer of 2013, the fellas from Mesa, Arizona have done a fall run in Canada for 9 dates, a winter tour with Guttermouth for 12 dates, a reunion tour with The Ataris for 20 dates, and are currently on a European tour for 29 dates. Clearly AZ is a hardworking band that plays for the love of music.
With about 115 shows in the last year, Authority Zero has recently announced their Rise to the Fall Tour 2014 upon the return of their European Tour that they’re currently on. The tour will feature 36 stops throughout the States, including many of the same markets that were hit during The Ataris Reunion Tour earlier in the year.
Their latest album “The Tipping Point” was released over a year ago via Hardline Entertainment, but you can still read about the release and hear what lead vocalist Jason Devore had to say about it right HERE!. But for now, make sure to catch Authority Zero coming to a city near you!
