So I have spent the last couple of days working on the Josh Fischel interview and it is long, but super interesting. So the plan is this, we want to give you the opportunity to read it all - uncensored.
However, in order to not overwhelm you, I will be breaking it down into two parts:
Weds - Part 1: Discussion will mainly focus on Bargain Music
Fri - Part 2: Will cover some Bargain Music, his other projects like producing and video directing (including making the Sublime documentary) and what's he got coming up
To all of are friends and Long Beach Shortbus Family,
To begin with we want to thank you for all of your support throughout the years. We have appreciated all of your dedication through the years. Without you we would not have been able to make it. We also want to thank all of the street team members who have worked so hard to help us out. Thank you for all of your kind words through the sites. We also wish to thank all of the support we have had from all the cities and venues we have played. The band has decided that it is necessary for everyone involved to call and end to the great run we have had. The band as a whole has decided to venture out in new directions. We all hope that one day we will find ourselves back on the road together one day, but that is in the hands of time now.
We will keep you comprised on the individual efforts from different members of the band. As for now Eric will be continuing to play with Stone Wing, and RAS 1 will be performing solo shows. Any updates with Trey, and Damien will be announced through the site as well. We hope to see all of you out there in support of our new projects in the future. This has not been an easy decision for anyone involved. We have not taken any of this lightly, and will miss every one of our friends we have made throughout the years. Everyone one of our fans and friends will hold a special place in our hearts with us. Thank you for your support and understanding on this, and thank you for taking the ride on the bus along with us.

Before I list the two shows I have this week, I want to start hyping my new, self-titled album that will be released by Halloween. It's 12 fresh new tracks that features 3 acoustic songs, and 9 songs with drummer/bass legend Chuck Treece(G Love, Bad Brains, McRad). I'll go out on a limb and say if you liked the first album, you'll love this one. I personally think it is above and beyond the debut album, but I'll let you be the judge. The song "Get Me Down" that's on my page now will be on it, but all the rest of the songs will be the same genre that I've had in the past (so don't think I've switched to folk music haha).
Everywhere I have been traveling, people are telling me how much my music is spreading in their area, so I want to say a huge thanks to all you people who have been popping my disc in the CD player at house parties, and pushing for me to get bigger.
With this release, I will be touring. So stay tuned to my page, because I'll be putting up dates in your area. Also, my MySpace will have all new songs from the new album in the next weeks.
