Music has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in Hawaii, I was heavily influenced by reggae and island-style music, but over the years, I’ve put in time at a couple record labels, written and recorded my own music, and experienced a wide variety of live performances, giving me a sincere appreciation for true talent and artistry across all genres, and respect for the people behind-the-scenes that are instrumental in showcasing this art… which is why I’m so stoked to be involved with The Pier!

In attempting to express music visually with photography, I try to capture the feel of a show, more than what it looks like. Being able to document and share this era of live music through photographs is kind of like my way of giving back to the artists that inspire us.

When I’m not at a show, I like to be in the yoga studio, in the water, or on an airplane.. I also like to sleep from time to time.
