Hey guys! My name’s Ashley and I was born and raised in sunny South Florida. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years down by the beach listening to the smooth sounds of Bob Marley and UB40. Now, I’ve always loved music but there is something so synonymous about reggae music and the beach that my love of reggae naturally evolved.

I spend most of my time going to shows, laying by the pool with my head buried in a good book, or writing. I recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in English. After spending a few years freelance writing for various magazines and my college newspaper I was looking for another avenue to express my opinions. So, combining my love of reggae music with my love of writing only seemed like a natural progression. And I’ve been an avid follower of The Pier for a long time, so I’m excited to join the team!
