Living in and around Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy music in one of the most music-centric cities and in some of the most popular venues in the country. I grew up enjoying the sounds of a wide variety of music, including: jazz, rock, hip-hop, country, reggae and Latin. Although I grew up a big fan of Sublime, I did not follow the reggae-rock genre until a friend took me to a Pepper concert, which re-kindled my interest and I have since come to discover some of my new favorite bands such as Ballyhoo! and the Dirty Heads.
I’ve recently discovered a passion for journalism and now get to pursue that while fueling my love of music with The Pier. I studied at California State University, Northridge and have been working as a freelance Screenwriter. The process of developing and telling stories has always been something I’ve enjoyed, and now I’m exploring new avenues to make myself a more well-rounded writer.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy playing baseball, attending LA Dodgers and Kings games, fishing, or enjoying the great indoors with my dogs when the California sunshine gets to be too overbearing.
