77 Jefferson’s Rarities Vol. 2

On May 12, 2013 Kansas City, MO very own, 77 Jefferson, will be releasing their Rarities Vol. 2 album via the groups new label, StayWiseMedia. The album will contain 12 tracks with an assortment of acoustic tracks, remixes, dubs & killer collaborations.

By the time 77 Jefferson releases Rarities Vol 2, it will have been a year since the release of their last album, the May 2012 release of “Truth & Love”. The group is looking to bring back the heavy beats and riddims that stormed out of “Rarities Vol.1″ in 2009. Some of the featuring artists on Rarities Vol 2 will include Spawnbreezie, SkillinJah, Josh Heinrichs & Hawaii’s WashHouse recording artists, Jah Maoli.

77 Jefferson’s front man, Miles Brown, recorded and produced all of 77?s albums as well as Josh Heinrichs’ album, Josh Heinrichs and Friends, featuring many legendary reggae artists such as Aston “Familyman” Barrett of Bob Marley and The Wailers, Hani of Katchafire, Caleb Keolanui and BW from The Green, Koko of Inna Vision, Cas Haley, 77’s own Joel Castillo and many more. The album did very well and peaked at number 4 on the top USA reggae albums on I-tunes.

77 Jefferson’s history includes 4 full length albums (including Rarities Vol. 1), 1 EP and now Rarities Vol. 2 that will round out the groups 6 release discography.

Again the album will be released on May 12th and will be available with all major digital retailers. Stay tuned for 77 Jefferson’s 2013 Tour Announcement coming soon. They are currently locking down their May/June dates where they will be hitting the west coast with stops in CA, Az, Tx< OK, CO & NV. One date is for sure and that is 77 Jefferson playing the 4th Annual California Roots Music & Arts Festival in Monterey, CA. Stay tuned...
