311 & Sublime with Rome Unity Tour!

311 and Sublime with Rome will join forces for Unity Tour 2011. This year’s installment of the annual summertime trek promises to be the party of the summer. The tour hits amphitheaters nationwide from July 8th to August 26th. Tickets for select shows go on sale starting March 26th.

311 vocalist Nick Hexum said: Summer Unity in full effect! We’re thrilled that Sublime with Rome is on the 2011 Unity Tour. 311 & Sublime with Rome seems like the perfect outdoor summer party. The 311 Nation is growing stronger every day and we’re excited to see you all at the shows!

Sublime with Rome singer/guitarist Rome said: We’re so excited to hit the US with 311. We’ll have our album out and will be playing new original songs alongside the fan favorites. This will be an epic tour that will forever be remembered. Can’t wait for summer!

311 will be touring in support of a new album (due out this summer), produced by Bob Rock.

Sublime with Rome, are currently in the studio with producer Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers, Sublime, Meat Puppets) working on their highly anticipated debut album, due out this summer.

Over the past several years, Unity Tour has included Snoop Dogg, The Offspring, Matisyahu, The Wailers and The Roots. Unity Tour 2011 featuring 311 & Sublime with Rome should be the biggest and best yet.
