Stick Figure Releases ‘Easy Runaway” Ahead of New Record

Scott Woodruff and the Stick Figure crew aren’t slowing down anytime soon. After releasing one of 2017’s top songs in “Above The Storm,” Stick Figure has revealed another new track from their forthcoming album this year entitled “Easy Runaway” – a song that the band claims to be one of their favorites from the upcoming album. The Movement Drops New Single “Cool Me Down”

South Carolina’s reggae torchbearers The Movement plan to make an impact in 2018. The island-beach quartet dropped their new track “Siren” featuring Stick Figure last June, and have just released their newest track “Cool Me Down” – a song expected to be included on their forthcoming album due for release in the Spring. Hempress Sativa To Release Dub Album with The Scientist

Out of Kingston, Jamaica comes Hempress Sativa. To start the year of 2017 she released a 13-track record titled Unconquerebel via Conquering Lion Records. She has the roots and rhythm of an Erykah Badu and commands the dancehall like a modern day Lady Saw. Will Kubley of Passafire to Release New Music with ‘The Hugeness’

Passafire bassist, Will Kubley, has never been one to pump the brakes. When he’s not tearing up the stage or writing and recording music with Passafire, he’s likely still working on music in other capacities. Supergroup ‘Saudade’ ft. Members of Deftones, Bad Brains & Cro-mags

Never one to shy away from pushing the experimental envelope, Deftones lead singer Chino Moreno announced formation of the supergroup Saudade in 2016 featuring Dr. Know and members of Bad Brains, Crosses and Cro-Mags. After one track was released, reports have come in from the studio that the ensemble is now finalizing the album anticipated for a 2018 release. (more…)

Video: Ethan Tucker – “Never Be”

With a new album expected in 2018, Ethan Tucker is putting an exclamation-point on his 2015 record, Misunderstood, by releasing the music video for “Never Be.” Directed by Garret Laver, the video had been shelved for more than a year with inspiration coming from the phrase “I’ll Never Be Fooled Again.” Ethan Explains: “The song is about believing the façade that some people put on in a relationship before exposing their true colors.” You can stream Misunderstood on most platforms and to read more about Ethan’s plans for a new record this year, read our 2018 Most Anticipated Albums feature by clicking HERE! Tash Sultana’s Meteoric Rise to Perform at Coachella & Governors Ball

It’s hard to find a musician who had a better 2017 than Tash Sultana. In the blink of an eye, the incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist and singer from Melbourne, Australia has gone from busking street corners and playing small music clubs, to selling out practically every show she plays around the world.
