Video: The Green – “All I Need”

Here is the official music video to The Green’s latest single “All I Need.” The song is from the Oct 20th, 2017 release of Marching Orders via Easy Star Records. The album includes 14 total tracks with guest appearances by Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, Fiji, J Boog, Busy Signal, and The Mana’o Company. The album shows them returning with their signature progressive Hawaiian flavor of R&B, Reggae and Roots rhythms around love ballads that is only topped by their 3-4 part vocal harmonies. Footwerk Releases Single Featuring SOJA’s Trevor Young

Straight from the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) comes Footwerk, an up-and-coming “hip-pop” party ensemble that has been starting to make some noise. Boston Mayor Declares December 28th Mighty Mighty Bosstones Day!

Boston, MA Mayor Marty Walsh has made it official, stating on Thursday, Dec. 28th: “Today is Mighty Mighty Bosstones Day.” The band kicked off its 20th Hometown Throwdown on the 28th, and it will last through Saturday night. Mayor Walsh will give the day’s honor to front-man Dicky Barrett and the band on stage in front of a sold out crowd at the House of Blues in downtown Boston. The Bosstones are joined by a slew of other bands at their Hometown Throwdown, including ska/rock-steady acts like Vic Ruggiero, Kicked in the Head, The Pietasters and more. (more…)

Katchafire Releases Two Music Videos Ahead of ‘Legacy’ Release

Katchafire will continue the celebration of their 20th anniversary together with the release of their 5th studio album Legacy. The beloved, all Maori reggae band hailing from Hamilton, New Zealand, plan to drop Legacy in February 2018 via Zojak World Wide and Universal NZ. Ahead of the album’s release, Katchafire has put out two new music videos for Legacy‘s first two singles, “Addicted” and “Way Beyond.” (more…)

Video: Ethan Tucker – “Badfish” (Sublime Cover ft. Jakob Nowell)

Here’s a fun one — Olympia, WA singer-songwriter Ethan Tucker just wrapped up The Winter Wonderland Family Jam tour that featured headliners The Aggrolites with Slightly Stoopids horns and full sets from Ethan Tucker and Law. The tour stretched from San Diego to The Bay Area. The highlight came when on the last night of tour when Ethan covered Sublime‘s “Badfish” with Law’s Jakob Nowell, who can be seen dressed in a captain’s outfit. As Ethan describes: Last day of tour at The Ritz (San Jose, CA) on 12/23/2017. Good times with my friends The Aggrolites, Dela, and LAW. Had to invite Jakob Nowell from LAW up to cover ‘Badfish’ with me.” Jakob Nowell is the son of Sublime’s late front-man Brad Nowell. Enjoy the video…

Mike Pinto Releases a David Foral Remix to “Crooks”

On June 27th, 2017, singer, songwriter & storyteller Mike Pinto released his first album in 4 years with a 10-track release titled Hotel Rendezvous. The album has flown under the radar as a low-key release while also being considered Mike’s best work to date. Video: Pepper – “Around” (Live Acoustic)

Our good friends at Sugar Shack recorded a live-acoustic version of “Around” with the Pepper guys. The song is the last track off their last studio album Ohana. The album was released April 2016 and just recently the group put out a new single, “Good Thing Going” featuring Slightly Stoopid — You can read more on that update by clicking HERE! The are rumored plans for a new album to drop in 2018 as we hope to bring you some details with our 2018 Most Anticipated Albums feature to come January 2nd. Rebelution’s Kyle Ahern Debuts Solo Effort ‘Taking Off’

Atlantic City’s Kyle Ahern has had a jam-packed couple of years. Known originally for the strong delivery of performing various covers, Sensamotion and most recently for his contributions as a guitarist for Rebelution, Ahern has officially released his own solo record under the name TICO –- an eight-track effort entitled Taking Off that will serve as a delight to the ears of those who listen.
