MP3 Leak of the Week: The Green

After four long years, Hawai’i’s The Green released a brand new album titled Marching Orders via Easy Star Records on Oct. 20th. The second track off the record, “Feel So Cool” was not a song they wrote, but one they recorded and perform as a tribute to a lost friend from the island. No Doubt’s Debut Record Turns Twenty Five with New Vinyl

No Doubt’s debut self-titled record officially turned 25-years-old on March 17th from when it was originally released in 1992. On Nov 10th, 2017 Universal Music Group celebrated the 25th anniversary of No Doubt’s original release by putting out a sparkling new vinyl edition of the album which happens to be the first time the album can be enjoyed on vinyl. Matisyahu to Release ‘Live at Stubb’s Vol IV’

Rejuvenated and energized from the release of his sixth studio album Undercurrent earlier this year, Grammy-nominated Matisyahu revealed that he plans to release a new edition of his originally acclaimed Live at Stubb’s album in the midst of The Broken Crowns Tour with Common Kings and Orphan taking place through the Fall and into the Winter. Biga Ranx is a French Reggae / Hip Hop artist from Tours, France, and along with X-Ray Production, an independent record label based in Paris, he’s released 9 albums since 2011. His latest record, 1988, dropped this past June and features 16 songs with an array of guest appearances. Brand New Single Released From The Late Sugar Minott

Lincoln Sugar Minott passed away July 10, 2010, in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica. He was just 54-years-old. He was known as a reggae singer and producer who started his musical career in 1969 in Kingston, Jamaica. 7 years after his untimely death and fans are able to continue celebrating his life and music with a brand new song that comes from deep within the archives with the track “My Love Zone.” (more…)

Dirty Heads Co-Write Maroon 5’s New Song “Visions” with Blueprint

On the Deluxe release of Maroon 5‘s new album, Red Pill Blues, fans will take note that the Dirty Heads’ Jared Watson & Dustin Bushnell are credited as co-writers for the song “Visions” with mc/producer, Blueprint. The song was almost included on Dirty Heads new record, Swim Team, and a previous track-list shared online shows how close the song came to the album. (more…)

Video: Toko Tasi – Rockstar (Remix) ft. Ethan Tucker

Shot and directed by Michael Artega, here is the official music video for Toko Tasi‘s “Rockstar” (Remix)” ft. Ethan Tucker. The video pays tribute to the Sublime family and Long Beach community with additional footage shot in Ethan Tucker’s hometown of Olympia, WA. The video shows Tasi skating at the lighthouse which was at the same location where he was filmed skating in Sublime’s “What I Got” music video. Lots of shots were filmed in and around Long Beach that included local hang-outs of the late Bradley Nowell. Also included in the video is Miguel Happoldt, Ras-1 & Opie Ortiz of Long Beach Dub Allstars, Moi of Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds, Mic Dangerously of Zen Robbi, in addition to DJ Cutty Mcfly, and professional skateboarders Aaron Johnson (Ajax) & Julie Kindstrand.
