Krooked Treez Releases New Single “Dr. Kevorkian”

Los Angeles based Reggae Hip-hop group Krooked Treez have released their second single and video from their upcoming album, Born Calizeans. The new single is titled “Dr. Kevorkian” and features Sid Wilson, aka DJ Starscream, of Slipknot. The group is generating momentum with each new single as vocalist O. Tropidelic To Release New Album with Law Records

New Sublime Documentary In The Works

It’s been since the 1998 independent release of Stories, Tales, Lies & Exaggerations or perhaps the late 2001 drop of VH-1’s Behind The Music that a proper telling of Sublime‘s story was documented. 2018 will be the year we see a new documentary on the beautifully complicated band that we continue to celebrate in Sublime. Video: The Black Seeds – “Freakin'”

On Sept. 8th, New Zealands The Black Seeds will release their sixth studio album Fabric. The album includes 12 total tracks with track 3, “Freakin,'” as the leading single. “It’s the party, pick-me-up track on the album,” says The Black Seeds co-frontman, Barnaby Weir of the new track created at Lee Prebble’s The Surgery. “It’s for the end of the week, end of the line, letting loose, shaking it off. It’s a good dose of feel-good funk.” Featuring dance and choreography from Hero Dance Company, Pump Dance Studios and The Company NZ, the video was directed by Mark Russell, and produced by Owen Watts. The Dirty Heads Announce New Album ‘Swim Team’

The Supervillains Release New Album ‘Nice Things’

11 years have come and gone since the debut album from Orlando, Florida’s The Supervillains. Always embracing their “swamp rock” party mentality, the band has long since become a favorite across the reggae-rock community. Video: Kabaka Pyramid – “Can’t Breathe”

As we continue to anticipate the debut release of Jamaica’s Kabaka Pyramid Contraband record, he has dropped a music video for the albums leading single “Can’t Breathe.” The song delivers a potent message on painful and stressful situations individuals face by living in a toxic system, literally and figuratively. The track was produced by Genis Tranis Nadal with the video directed by Fernando Hevia. We hope to see the album drop later this fall as it’ll be released under Ghetto Youths International & Bebble Rock Music with Damian Marley as executive producer. Third World Releases New Single Ahead of Full-Length Album

On July 28th, 2017, the iconic reggae group Third World dropped their new single titled “Eyes Are Up On You.” The single is our first taste of Third World’s upcoming full-length album, which was produced by Damian Marley. Cydeways Drops New Singles Ahead Of Debut Full-Length

Santa Barbara reggae rock quartet Cydeways recently dropped another single off their upcoming album But It Ain’t House Music. The track titled “Love For Two” highlights the band’s softer side, contrasting well with their previous single, an upbeat ska song called “Trippin’ Like The Disco.” But It Ain’t House Music is expected to release on September 15th, 2017.
