Spend this Labor Day Weekend at the 2nd Annual Dry Diggings Festival with Rebelution, Zion I x The Grouch X Eligh (ZGE), The Expendables, Fortunate Youth and many more! Join in on this end of summer party filled with music, craft brew, local artisans and delicious food. The celebration takes place at the El Dorado Fairgrounds in Placerville Ca. September 2nd-3rd.
Brought to you by Jeff Monser, founder and co-producer of California Roots, The Dry Diggings Festival is the summers send off celebration you do not want to miss! “With Dry Diggings, my goal was to make it one big affordable party, with onsite camping, killer live music, great brews, some good food, and fun games throughout the weekend. It’s one of those weekends that great bonds and memories are to be made. This fest particularly, due to the camping will provide the fans with a full-festival experience. It’s a baby-beast and I’m excited to grow it,” says Jeff Monser of Monser Presents.
So What Does the Lineup Look Like?
The fest will host 22 bands, consisting of longtime favorites such as Rebelution, The Expendalbes, and Passafire. Zion I returns for the second year in a row and shares, “Last year was dope, we had a late night set and everybody was vibin’ out.” This year with an earlier set time, The Grouch and Eligh join Zion I (ZGE) and they are “hoping the crowd will be getting hyphy with us!”
Artists such as: Tribal Seeds, Hirie and Through the Roots will also be rocking the Dry Diggings Stage for a second time around! If that’s not enough to make you realize this lineup is golden, the fest also features current breakthrough artists, Fortunate Youth, Cas Haley, and The Movement. But wait, there’s more.. Bringing some international flavor to the festival are two dynamic female new-comers to the American reggae-rock scene, Brazilian Reggae-Pop artist KELLSA and Jamaican Reggae artist, Jovi Rockwell.

Not only does the fest dish out a killer lineup, Dry Diggings will also feature a number of hand-selected artisans, craftsmen and food vendors. Being the Labor Day party that it is, what is a party without beer? Expect to sip on and chill out with craft brews from, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas Brewing Co and Altamont Beer Works! More fun activities slated for the weekend include Corn hole and Beer Pong tournaments. General admission weekend passes are $85.00, with parking passes an additional $40.00. If you are camping, weekend fees are set at $100.00 for a 15×20 designated spot — allowing up to 3 tents and 6 persons, or $325.00 for an RV. Single-day prices are $40.00 for Friday, $60.00 for Saturday and $20.00 parking each day.
