Classic Music Video: Close Enough

Close Enough’s Reggae Style was for most their first exposure to the band when it was featured on The Pier’s Spring Sampler. The group followed it up on The Pier’s Summer Sampler with the exclusive track Under The Pier (make sure you find that album and download it if you can).

Close Enough is/was a band that effortlessly mixes the reggae and the rap! Awesome stuff!

Exposed: Innercoastal

Innercoastal is a band out of Winter Park, Florida. The group has a unique reggae sound and certainly brings something new to the reggae scene. So far, the band has shared the stage with The Supervillains, Passafire, Third World, Hor!zen, Xaltation, Junkie Rush and has a show planned in July with SOJA and The Movement.

Having already released an EP titled “Support the Stash” Innercoastal are continuing to create and write new music and plan on releasing a new album this summer.

To find out more information about Innercoastal and its upcoming shows, CLICK HERE to check out its MySpace page.

The ESPN Video below shows a short documentary on Nate Winters who plays bass for the band and who tragically lost his leg in a boating accident two years ago, but has picked up music and has used reggae as an uplifter to get through the struggles he has had to overcome. Its very inspiring and a must watch!
