A Bear With a Car on Top has just released its promo video featuring the tune Babylon by Bus. Take a look below and look for the band’s debut album to drop in June.

Santa Cruz, CA based rock band The Expendables are set to release its highly anticipated, fifth full-length album Prove It, produced by Paul Leary and El Hefe, on May 11, 2010.

The album features 17 brand new original tracks and has guest appearances by G. Love, as well as various members of Slightly Stoopid, to name a few.

Of the new album the band shares, “As producers, Leary and El Hefe brought a vibe to the studio as only two punk rock guitar legends could. As musicians who really care about the music, we all connected and feel like we are bringing something new to the table, while still staying true to the sounds that make us who we are.”

Mishka’s new album Talk About, was released today on Matthew McConaughey’s jk livin label. Matthew and Mishka invited MTV News into the studio to get a behind-the-scenes look at their recording sessions.

Shrub – We Wanna Smoke

The Mid-west has long been a hotbed for successful Rap artists, but Shrub’s fusion of Rap, Reggae, and Rock brings a whole new flavor to the scene. Shrub’s debut EP, Senorita, is quickly setting this Columbus, Ohio artist apart from the pack. From the ganja-induced, club-anthem “We Wanna Smoke”; to the dancehall banger “Come And Get It”; to a more somber side on “Cherries”, Shrub has tapped into a unique and raw sound all his own.

Not to mention the sick album artwork by none other than Opie Ortiz (from the Long Beach Dub Allstars and also a well-known Sublime artist/friend). The band is also currently working with Reggae/Dub super-producer, Dubmatix.

Arizona’s punk/reggae veterans Authority Zero is the first act signed to Viking Funeral, a new label imprint founded by Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge, Ken Seaton of Hardline Entertainment, and Suburban Noize Records. The group will release its fourth studio album, titled Stories of Survival, through the label imprint on May 25th, 2010.
