The Expendables to “Prove it” May 11

Santa Cruz, CA based rock band The Expendables are set to release its highly anticipated, fifth full-length album Prove It, produced by Paul Leary and El Hefe, on May 11, 2010.

The album features 17 brand new original tracks and has guest appearances by G. Love, as well as various members of Slightly Stoopid, to name a few.

Of the new album the band shares, “As producers, Leary and El Hefe brought a vibe to the studio as only two punk rock guitar legends could. As musicians who really care about the music, we all connected and feel like we are bringing something new to the table, while still staying true to the sounds that make us who we are.”

Right Click the link above & Save Target As

This MP3 is a cover done by Cas Haley & Josh Heinrichs of Third World’s “96 Degrees (In The Shade),” it will be featured on Josh’s new album coming this summer.

Junior Marvin of Bob Marley & The Wailers has this to say about former Jah Roots Lead Singer/Songwriter Josh Heinrichs, “Josh is one of those guys who comes along and fills his music with such an inspiration and with such energy that it translates so easily and positively to anyone hearing it. He is a rare talent in both his ability to craft a song with a certain timeless quality to it, and then, man, his voice, well, I mean, damn, the kid can sing as good as anyone out there; a bright future – that one.”
